Faith in God: Simple Reasoning<\/h1><\/p>

 <\/p>

Scientists and atheists have no argument to counter a sudden and dramatic manifestation of God.<\/i><\/p>

 <\/p>

 <\/p>

The sudden appearance of an angel of God to man on earth, as in Judeo-Christian
tradition, instantly invalidates all theories of mankind that challenge the existence of God. It is
that simple, and is conclusive in the matter, ending the debate once and for all. There is no
counterargument past, present or future that can withstand such an occurrence. And, of course,
we should add that the personal appearance of God Himself on earth (or the Son of God) is all
the more conclusive.<\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>

It is not required that a representative of the scientific community actually be present
when such a visitation occurs for this to be of effect, for we are all accountable to the truth
whether we are personally able to see something others have seen or not. <\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>

Those who argue against the existence of God make the argument (correctly) that we who
believe in God, if we choose to ignore important discoveries documented in scientific journals
(or visible to the public in museums or on TV documentaries), are nonetheless accountable to the
truth in the end. Yes, that is certainly true. But the same is also true the other way. The
unbelievers of the world, whose faith and dreams for the future of mankind are built on a
materialistic view of the universe, are very much accountable to any and all established truths of
the earth's history which they choose to ignore<\/span>. <\/p>

 <\/p>

Within the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, as well as within the modern-revealed
scriptures of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, men and women of sound minds
and good character have born witness to the world that God exists. Angels bearing glad tidings
have appeared to many and, indeed, continue to appear to man in modern times just as in times
of old. This is peer-reviewed, conclusive evidence of God, albeit in a different form––first-
person witnesses. We, therefore, politely request that science step up to the plate and review the
firsthand testimonies and the vast supporting evidence of God's existence objectively and
without prejudice. It may very well require a massive \"Manhattan Project\" level of research to
replicate using scientific methodology what has been verified elsewhere, as well as to better
understand where God is, what He looks like, and what He does every day. The scope and
magnitude of this particular research project requires a lifetime of dedication and research by the
world's greatest minds, significant government and private sector funding, and a brand-new
approach to gathering empirical data. And if science continues to show contempt for spiritual
things as it has routinely done in the past, then the ensuing findings of fact will be tainted and of <\/p>

no use to the general public. The prejudicial culture of science must be left behind for this new
dawn in the age of man to emerge.<\/p>

 <\/p>

The existence of God, once verified by science in the eyes of the people, is the ultimate
game changer, opening up new avenues of research and the opportunity for many more
important discoveries. For this reason, it is the number one priority of science to search out, to
investigate, and to know these things in order to provide the world an accurate assessment of the
universe. Why continue to guess when it's not necessary? Faith in God and science naturally
belong together. <\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>

Science can fulfill the measure of her creation, but to do so, she must discover God and
then humbly bow before Him. Surely, there is no shame in this! Humility and faith in God enable
light and knowledge to be sent down from the heavens and bestowed upon man. This is the spark
that brings invention to industry; the source of an expanded vision for mathematics and physics;
the ideas to improve medicine, government services, and the use of natural resources; the help
we need to find many more fossils or relics in the earth; and a foundation of knowledge to help
us better understand the earth’s history and the purpose of its creation. It also provides the
context we need to better understand our solar system, our galaxy, and all things big and small in
the universe. <\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>

This increased knowledge is the birthright of science if she will refocus her lens on what
truly matters. The everyday things of today's world are also important and can still be pursued in
regular order. But we should seek after the simple and important truths of man's existence first<\/span>.<\/p>"}
