Reverence, the Sabbath

Reverence is things not spoken which are true (JRE Link, 2017-0110 (Tue), WSE-MAIN).

Shh, be still. The Spirit likes reverence (JRE Link, 2017-0206 (Mon), WSE-MAIN).

The Spirit is a whisper.

The Spirit is a sudden burst of energy in one's soul.

The Spirit is the fountain of joy in our lives.

The Spirit brings inner peace and an outward glow (JRE Link, 2018-0521 (Mon), COM-STR2).

The Spirit is in your eyes and in your heart.

Bright light! Bright light! We can see into heaven (JRE Link, 2017-0916 (Sat), COM-STR2).

The bright and beautiful light of Jesus Christ––the eternal spirit of happiness (JRE Link, 2016-1227 (Tue), COM-STR2).

Light––a simple, but glorious subject.

I'm remaking your eyes (JRE Link, 2016-0907 (Wed), WSE-MAIN).

Stand in holy places and be moved by the Spirit (JRE Link, 2017-0428 (Fri), COM-STR2).

The Spirit conducts Church meetings. Charity conducts the feelings in our hearts (JRE Link, 2017-0115 (Sun), COM-STR2).

The greatly uncharted waters of observing the Sabbath.

Our Sabbath days are greatly diminished. Sports and other TV programming are more
appealing to us. Football hurts both Church attendance and family home evenings.

The adversary tripped us up with vacations on the Sabbath, taking us away from our
Church duties.

Enjoy the Sabbath day––a gift of peace to our lives that keeps on giving (JRE Link, 2018-0509 (Wed), COM-STR2).

A beautiful baby to bless, a beautiful Sunday.

Hold holy thy attendance in sacrament meeting (JRE Link, 2020-0606 (Sat), WSE-MAIN).

Sunday meetings can lift us spiritually or leave us wanting. It all depends on us (JRE Link, 2017-0121 (Sat), COM-STR2).

To the men—Suit is a holy coat. Use it every Sunday.

Ward members will help keep you warm in the Spirit and strong in testimony.

You will find answers to life's questions at church (JRE Link, 2018-0304 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Listen reverently and quietly with folded arms in church. The gospel is taught softly to
the children of God.

If a little one comes into Primary with arms folded and is reverent, the Holy Ghost will be
there (JRE Link, 2021-0603 (Thu), COM-STR2).

Sing. Sing along with the Spirit in Primary (JRE Link, 2018-0416 (Mon), COM-STR2).

Let's go inside the chapel and be reverent—temple-like reverence when possible (JRE Link, 2021-0515 (Sat), COM-STR2).

Fast Sunday should become a very special, sacred day for the Church, more so than it
already is. The members of the Church come dressed in white, ready to be reverent, as if the
meetinghouse were a temple building dedicated to the Lord. The hymns of sacrament meeting
are sung more solemnly, and a little quieter than usual. The keys and pedals on the organ are
more softly touched. Sunday School, Primary and quorum meeting classes are conducted
differently. Rather than open discussion, it is a time for all of us to be taught from on high, our
hearts quickened by the Spirit as simple truths of the gospel are spoken by the teacher. There is a
feeling of reverence, a feeling of oneness, a feeling of sacrifice in the fast that prepares our souls,
young and old, for the temple.

The hymns of sacrament meeting are the hymns of truth. Feel them in your soul (JRE Link, 2017-1016 (Mon), COM-STR2).

Draw close to me by taking the sacrament (JRE Link, 2020-0924 (Thu), WSE-MAIN).

Take the sacrament of me.

I didn't have the consistency of the Spirit until now. The promise of the sacrament prayer
each week has become a reality in my life.
