Principles of Zion, Part XI

Missionary Work

The world searches for peace, not knowing where to find it (JRE Link, 2017-0321 (Tue), WSE-MAIN).

Make the world a more perfect place. Let freedom ring (JRE Link, 2017-0718 (Tue), COM-STR2).

Freedom is paramount. Freedom is king (JRE Link, 2018-0129 (Mon), COM-STR2).

Rejoice in liberty. Rejoice in the power of God (JRE Link, 2017-0103 (Tue), COM-STR2).

Compulsion is not of God. Freedom is of God (JRE Link, 2018-0129 (Mon), COM-STR2).

The wondrous and glorious Jesus Christ! He is our Lord and Savior.

Jesus Christ and no other. Salvation cometh through Him alone (JRE Link, 2019-1021 (Mon), COM-STR2).

Read the Savior's beautiful words to the people of the earth. Strengthen the testimonies of
Christ.

Like Jesus... teaching ourselves and others to be like Him.

Plant the seeds of faith. Many are lost in wickedness. Many are without hope in the
world.

All of us have the responsibility to save the souls of men. Love thy neighbor as thyself
through the sharing of the gospel.

The gospel message––the still, small voice of warning (JRE Link, 2018-0615 (Fri), WSE-MAIN).

Get off the couch and preach the gospel. The number of people saved could be big (JRE Link, 2020-0310 (Tue), COM-STR2).

The salvation of many is within your grasp (JRE Link, 2018-0617 (Sun), COM-STR2).

The world is filled with many great men and women of God like Adam and Eve. We
need to bring them on board to the restored gospel. They will blossom as Latter-day Saints.

So many countries, and so little time. No other church or religion can do this work. It's up
to us to get it done (JRE Link, 2018-0802 (Thu), COM-STR2).

Our numbers are few, so let's scale up the Church.

Baptisms will increase dramatically as momentum builds in the Church and the world
feels a burning passion for the new truths of the restored gospel.

Free agency on this earth has no limitations. There is no reason why millions and millions
more can't join the Church every year.

Hey, fishers of men! Place your fishing net on the other side of the boat (JRE Link, 2017-0516 (Tue), WSE-MAIN).

Feed the five thousand—your powerful testimony can touch the lives of many, even
thousands (JRE Link, 2017-0313 (Mon), COM-STR2).

So many souls to save, both inside and outside of the Church.

The Church is for everyone. The truth is for everyone (JRE Link, 2017-0215 (Wed), COM-STR2).

Here is what the restored gospel has to offer you––joy, peace, truth, friendship, gospel
education, children and youth programs, family home evening, a vast women's organization,
priesthood authority, priesthood ordinances and blessings, a prophet and apostles, modern
scriptures, modern revelation and the ability to change and continuously improve, clear and
concise articles of faith, eternal marriage and eternal families, genealogical work and vicarious
work for the dead, an inspiring pioneer legacy, adherence to the principles of freedom, adherence
to the laws of the land, good health principles, a church welfare system, a strong financial
foundation free of corruption, a world renown choir and orchestra, state-of-the-art
meetinghouses, temples for sacred ordinances that are architectural wonders, an international
charities organization, a worldwide volunteer missionary program, an advanced worldwide IT
infrastructure, extensive web and media resources, uniformity of doctrine and worship services
across countries and cultures, the blessings of God, the plan of salvation, eternal life.

Go on the record with your friends and neighbors. Share your testimony of the restored
gospel and the Book of Mormon at the drop of a hat, but be sensitive to the delicate feelings
others have in their beliefs. Sincerity and love are your best member missionary tools.

If friends and family will sincerely listen to your testimony, they will know it is true (JRE Link, 2017-0827 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Members of the Church become as the angels of heaven when they share the glad tidings
of the gospel (JRE Link, 2017-0827 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Blessed is he who cometh to our door in the name of the Lord (JRE Link, 2017-0827 (Sun), COM-STR2).

An ambassador of goodwill. An ambassador of Jesus Christ.

You sister missionaries have made your Father in Heaven proud! Your hearts are soft,
and you soften the hearts of others (JRE Link, 2018-1014 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Let the words of salvation continuously abide within you as you travel the earth and teach
the people (JRE Link, 2018-1215 (Sat), COM-STR2).

The words you speak will overwhelm many souls.

The words of your testimony are true. The Spirit makes your words of testimony
effective (JRE Link, 2018-1227 (Thu), WSE-MAIN).

Show them... show them that the Holy Ghost is real.

Show forth a grand love to everyone you meet every day. An extra spark of goodness will
spring forth from you through the Spirit (JRE Link, 2018-0705 (Thu), COM-STR2).

Smile and win hearts by your exceeding joy and enthusiasm for life (JRE Link, 2021-0810 (Tue), COM-STR2).

Speak humbly and softly as you bear testimony. Speak boldly only when moved upon by
the Holy Spirit (JRE Link, 2019-0104 (Fri), COM-STR2).

Don't antagonize people. Share a beautiful experience of the gospel with them and build
with that.

The mark of a good missionary––extra humble and extra kind. You truly love all people
and they can see it in your eyes (JRE Link, 2019-0923 (Mon), COM-STR2).

The humble will bowl-leave your testimony (JRE Link, 2017-0916 (Sat), COM-STR2).

God knows a lot of people. He's an excellent source for referrals (JRE Link, 2018-0830 (Thu), COM-STR2).

Don’t be late to appointments with investigators. The Spirit is always on time (JRE Link, 2018-0722 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Be perfect in your desire to share the gospel (JRE Link, 2019-0505 (Sun), COM-STR2).

Give your whole heart to this work, withholding nothing (JRE Link, 2023-0607 (Wed), WSE-MAIN).

Friendships and relationships in the mission field are ends in themselves, making your
life as a missionary full and happy. These beautiful relationships are sacred and can last a
lifetime.

The new converts to the Church will be calling on us. They will read everything. They
will rejoice in the gospel truths (JRE Link, 2017-1227 (Wed), COM-STR2).

What is the ideal of missionary work? Learning to move your feet and make miracles
happen. Make today better than incredible, then carefully plan out tomorrow with the Lord in
your nighttime prayers (JRE Link, 2017-0620 (Tue), COM-STR2).

The pace of change towards righteousness in the world is too slow. More miracles are
needed (JRE Link, 2017-0324 (Fri), COM-STR2).

Members should reach for the stars. Missionaries should reach for the stars. Led by the
Spirit, we can do anything.

Latter-day Saint missionaries—teaching, testifying, and helping save souls.

Find and teach many investigators. Set their sights higher in life.

The investigators you teach will be sobbing. Their souls will burst with joy.

The saving of souls will be very exciting, testing the limits of your own joy (JRE Link, 2017-0415 (Sat), COM-STR2).

Through the preaching of the gospel, you can change the world... literally.

Open the eyes of the wicked that they might have faith (JRE Link, 2019-0310 (Sun), WSE-MAIN).

Become a Paul Revere of the restored gospel. Go town to town on horseback raising the
voice of warning.

Be a Noah, a powerful testimony bearer.

The Holy Ghost searches the earth for the hearts of the humble and the obedient (JRE Link, 2016-1223 (Fri), COM-STR2).

The meek will have peace in their eyes.

The pure in heart will repent and be baptized.
